Moms Meet ‘n Munch: We aim to plan at least 2 throughout the year. It might be a night out at a restaurant, a Craft Night or a Christmas Tea.
Get togethers for grades 6+: This past year we held a Formal Dinner, Capture the Flag, Bunco Night, and a Bonfire Night.
Christmas Party: The younger students make crafts, enjoy treats and play games. The 6th and up students will have their own special party.
Valentine’s Party: The younger students make crafts, enjoy treats and play games. The 6th and up students will have their own special party.
Verbal Presentations: The presentations are based on the year's theme. Props or visual aids are highly encouraged. Presentations should be under 3 minutes in length. We record the presentations and post them online so parents can see them.
Yearbook Cover Contest: The students have an opportunity to have their artwork displayed in the yearbook. All entries will appear somewhere in the yearbook, but the winning entry of the older students will be our front cover.
Picture Day: We take pictures of our students by their grade levels and put them in our yearbook. Each family also gets to create a page!
Challenge: On Challenge Day, held during the Discovery Classes, students will be tested on the facts taught throughout the year. If they earn 90% and above, they will earn a cool prize. Everyone receives a small prize for participating.
Swim and Gym: This event is usually held at Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine. We rent the pool just for our group for a couple of hours, have snacks, and have a hour to play in the gymnasium. It is a fun time for families to get to know each other better.
End of the Year Picnic/ Used Curriculum Sale: Our last meeting of the year, we gather at Lion’s Park in Ham Lake for a picnic and a used curriculum sale.
